Each year the Seminar focuses on a different topic from the field of Political Sociology. The main axes are the social changes that occurred after the economic crisis of the 1970s and the developments of recent decades, such as the expanding deregulation of the welfare state and the transition from welfare models of socio-economic reproduction to the various policies to stimulate the market economy, the \u00abcompetitive state\u00bb and the globalized and globalizing economies of debt. Some of the questions of interest to the Seminar are the following: What socio-historical conditions led to the gradual abandonment of the post-war development model in favor of economic liberalization and internationalization centered on the financial sphere?
