Laboratory of Collective Actions and Social Movements

LaCASMo was founded in January of 2018 by Professor Michalis Psimitis and currently operates under the direction of Professor Stratos Georgoulas. Its mission is to undertake scientific work for a multifaceted approach to the scientific research of collective action that take place in society (interest groups, lobbies, social movements, political parties). LaCASMo is dedicated to the advancement of education and sociological research that focuses on the various kinds and types of collective action as well as the formation, development and operation of social movements.
