Erasmus

The Erasmus+ Program

Erasmus+ is one of the most well-known European programs for promoting the mobility of students, teaching and administrative staff to partner academic institutions and host organizations abroad. The program is one of the main pillars of extroversion and internationalization of our University for the purpose of research and academic cooperation.

Student mobility

Erasmus+ enables incoming/outgoing students of all study cycles (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral candidates) to spend a period of study at one of the partner universities abroad. Within the framework of the program, incoming/outgoing students are granted a scholarship, while full academic recognition of learning outcomes is provided through the Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). Additionally, students of the Department of Sociology can carry out internships at host institutions abroad with Erasmus+ funding. Students of all study cycles, as well as recent graduates, are entitled to mobility for internships during the first year of their graduation, provided that the application has been submitted while they are still active students.

Mobility of teaching and administrative staff

The Erasmus+ program provides the opportunity for incoming and outgoing faculty members to move for teaching and/or training. The Department's administrative staff can also move through the program for training abroad.
