Research and Writing (Dissertation)

The course aims to assist undergraduate students in writing their thesis, both in terms of structure and standard writing terms (cover, accompanying pages, numbering, formatting, reference systems, bibliography, etc.) and in terms of the development of the writing with reference to the subject and content of the work (summary in Greek and English, table of contents, purpose, sections, structure and arrangement of chapters and subchapters, conclusions, etc.). In the case that the work includes primary or secondary research, the method of presentation in the body of the thesis is discussed. Finally, the course provides examples of works that are discussed during the course in order to search for and identify by the participating students possible errors and ways to correct them, as well as ethical issues associated with writing a scientific paper.
