The course content focuses on migration and education, but also on the social inequalities produced and to what extent these constitute a threat to social cohesion or, as Zygmunt Bauman argues, «collateral damage» in the effort to maintain it. The central axes of the course are scientific approaches to social cohesion, migration and education in the context of globalization and the locality of societies. Initially, the basic concepts of the course are examined, such as social cohesion and social inequalities.
