The course is an introduction for students to the Sociology of Cities and the Environment. The structure is based on three modules. The first module presents theoretical approaches to urban space which were developed by classical Sociology of Cities and modern Urban Planning. The second module approaches the environment and nature through the science of sociology. The third module focuses on issues of urban evolution and sustainable development of cities.
