The undergraduate course “Sociology of Civilizations” examines the dimensions of social structure, interaction and cultural diversity at the international level. It analyzes the cultural values, practices and ideologies that shape societies worldwide, with an emphasis on the differences and similarities between cultures. It examines the relationship between cultures and other social factors, such as technology, economics and politics.
