The aim of the course is to provide postgraduate students with theoretical insight into the field of sociological approaches that have been formulated regarding "crime" and its treatment in relation to the issue of forced migration. After completing the course, postgraduate students are expected to be able to approach issues related to the sociological study of crime in relation to the issue of forced migration. Specifically:
- to understand the range of theoretical knowledge taught and to be able to distinguish any differences or similarities of these theories,
- to explain forms of "crime" in the light of sociological approaches,
- develop arguments regarding the type and effectiveness of anti-crime policy models
